This week we did many interesting activities. On Monday we brought our monsters we had to build to show the class. Our monsters had to be made in correlation to our monster narratives. Our monster narratives were about a monster that needed sympathy. Even the most disgusting monsters need compassion.
This week we learned about Concrete and Abstract nouns. A concrete noun is something you can count. Like birds or dollars, really anything you can see. For a concrete noun you would few. I had few friends. An abstract noun is something that cannot be seen, counted, or touched. Hope, freedom, and justice. When talking about abstract nouns you would say little. I had little hope. Here is a link about concrete and abstract nouns https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HA76Wa7uUxw. Another thing we learned about our Adjective Phrases and Clauses. Adjectives do not have to be on single word. They can also be a group of words. Here is an example: Thomas, who had long blond hair took an ice cream cone. Here is a video about Adjective Phrases and Clauses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-mrUgsUWe8. That is all we learned this week in english.
