This week we read a book called The Pie. I thought it was cool because it shows even the most religious people can sin. The story was about a boy who steals a pie out of boredom. He enjoys the pie very much but later has to face his own guilt. This also shows that even if we are not caught doing something sinful we still have to suffer the consequences of our own guilt. Another thins we did this week was learn about the Greek God creation story. It is very different than the Catholic creation story. In the Catholic creation story there was only one God. This one God made the Earth in seven days and along with all the animals plants and humans. The process was mostly non-violent. In the Greek creation it went down more violent. Like the catholic the universe was empty. Then out of the nothing spawned Gods which spawned more Gods. The younger Gods then killed the older Gods and the Younger Gods went and created humans. Those are the differences between both stories. That is all we did this week.
